As we slip into the thick of fall, hibernation gets real with many countries receding back into lockdown.
Thankfully, music is one of many guiding forces during this time. And the latest transmission from Stereofox Records lends an exhibition of jazz-infused chillhop. Time Travel EP brings listeners through the earthy nature of chillhop from the rainy piano sequences to breezy guitar strumming from Japanese artists yuhei miura and pianist Koza.
"Ethereal" brings a delicate sound with shy piano sequences over layers of robust Dilla-inspired percussion and RnB bass grooves. The duo inspire a theatre of the mind passing through enchanting melodic progressions. Listen to the full EP below:
