I have recently discovered New Orleans DJ Jim-E Stack and my discovery started with this brilliant remix of Yuna's utterly beautiful track "Lullabies". No need to say that I was beyond impressed and immediately went to his Soundcloud page to get more.
"Lullabies" is a gorgeous track on its own, but when it gets remixed like this it becomes even better. Yuna is an exquisite vocalist and Jim-E Stack takes the track on a whole new level. Its rhythmic, gentle and alleviating. The minimalistic production and floating melody, here comes your perfect late night listen. Check out the original spiced up by downtempo drum beat (which is thankfully transmitted to the remix) and ethereal melody. Both the original and the remix are just beautiful pieces of music.
