The guys from The 1975 have dropped their new EP IV on Soundcloud yesterday and my first thought is: awesome. I absolutely love every single song of this EP. We have posted quite a lot about the guys and I think they deserve all the attention.
My favourite song off this EP is "So Far (It’s Alright)". One word comes to my mind immediately: cute. This song is damn cute. I don't even know which genre it belongs to. Pop, rock, electro? I love how they have changed their sound in this one, the guitar is not that strong and, to be honest, I didn't expect tunes like this from the guys. Quite a contrast with the first song they released from this EP “The City”. I do have a lot of respect to the bands who manage to play with the sound that drastically and still be good at what they are doing.
Hope their further releases won't be a disappointment.
