Jakil - Look Like Gold

In our recent post-Christmas Indie blow out here at the fox, I'd like to introduce you all to UK troubadours Jakil. I've struggled to find much of any information on the lads apart from their social media sites and one track on soundcloud entitled 'Look Like Gold'.

With Indie music seemingly growing into two distinct camps, the over-produced radio readiness of modern day Kings of Leon and their ilk, and that of the deliberately under-produced and gritty indie, Jakil and 'Look Like Gold' lie with a foot decidedly in both camps. There's just something about this sole track that could push the guys one way or the other and it's the anticipation that gets me excited. Here's to their next track showing us exactly what the boys have planned for us in 2014.
