If you know who Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are then there is a slight possibility to know or at least to have noticed the heavily tattooed guy in their video "Otherside". What Dallas Green of Alexisonfire is to City and color, Christopher Mansfield of Fences is to …eh he is Fences! In the self-titled album of 2010 Fences plays the guitar and sings saddening life stories. Be those of his own personal life experiences or someone else's one could not tell. One thing is for sure, they are painfully emotional as melody and lyrics mix effortlessly with his baritone voice. According to Fences his second album was their best work and said everything he ever wanted to say as an artist. To add more fuel to the fire, the upcoming album The Internal Diving Board is produced by Jaquire King (Kings of Leon, Modest Mouse) and 2 guest artists – Jason Mcgerr (drums) of Death Cab for a Cutie, Ben Greenspan and Lindsey Starr. The album consists of 13 songs and was recorded in Seattle, Boston, Los Angeles and Nashville. The release date is spring/summer of 2013.
