Another band I did not care about just because of their name...I found it too poppy and somehow MTV-ish for my taste. Fortunately I did check them out after their label Hopeless Records uploaded some lyric videos from the band latest effort called Golden Record on youtube.
I was in for a big surprise because The Dangerous Summer stand out with amazing melodies, lyrics, musicianship and on top of that vocalist AJ Perdomo has a beautiful voice. These ingredients are enough to make the record in fact golden. I strongly recommend this album, it's like if Kings Of Leon were more of an emo band.
