Natten (the night) are Stockholm-based band that make instrumental music only. The coolest thing about the band (that I have discovered so far) is the fact that one of the members plays the trumpet. So what you are hearing is the actual sound coming from a real, physical instrument rather than a electronically generated one. Perhaps I should not be that impressed but this is what I get from mostly listening to electronic music.
"Helvetet" is part of their EP Omen which was released few weeks ago. The EP contains four tracks and it is something that you should definitely listen to. Not only because the trumpet parts are absolutely mesmerizing but also the whole EP has this wonderful amalgam of dark, mystic feeling mixed with a variety of music genres. So, my advice is that you spare 23 minutes of your time, place yourself comfortably and play the Omen - the pleasure is guaranteed.
