After spending 90% of your awake time out of your house doing all kinds of stuff and activities and discussions sometimes there's this moment that you sit on a bench while waiting for the next tram car and you realize a complete inability to get up. As if life has been sucked out of you and your brain is desperately trying to revive you, so you can get home. And then you need tracks like Novo Amor's "From Gold" - sad enough to blend with your state of mind and yet extremely hopeful and awakening.
If you like stuff like Bon Iver or James Vincent McMorrow - that track is your kind of music. The single is taken from Novo Amor's (or Ali Lacey as he goes by in real life) forthcoming EP Woodgate, NY. This is absolutely beautiful and it was what I needed to push through the day.
