This probably isn't the best way to start off a music video review, but I feel it should be said. I very rarely look at the music videos of songs. They can ruin the song for me if not done well and to my expectations. Good songs need good videos, right? Luckily, Program have not disappointed me with this stunning video.
"Waiting" is a shoegaze/atmosphere pop track that has a video quite unlike what you might expect. The song is colorful in every aspect, with its unique vocal style, heavy guitars, and that chilling overall feeling. The video? Black and white. Plain and simple. But it is done so well, you really don't need the color, as it is made up for in the content.
The plot is fairly simple: a girl is drowning, a guy dives off a cliff and saves her. Sounds like you've seen it before, right? Wrong. Again, It is so well done that it is a refreshing change from anything similar you might have ever seen.
Overall, it is a really professional video from a really small band, both of which need more attention.
