Be on It just released their new album Breakout and it’s marvellous! In “I Dream”, which is the 7th track on it, they collaborate with the mesmerizing duo TribeSouL to create a vibrant and warm sonic experience.
The track is a fusion between r&b, hip hop, and jazz, with some trap elements, hitting by the end and providing it with a contemporary flavour. Wrapped in jazzy vibes and garnished with TribeSouL’s beautiful vocals and cool bars, the song has an important message to share. It captures the Black Experience of dealing with racism and police brutality while pointing at a future in which all of that ceases. “I Dream” is meant to represent the mindset of Martin Luther King's “I have a dream” speech in a modern way.
