Benji Lewis has just dropped his Home for Now EP and "In Time" as a lead track gives us a taste of what to expect from this EP.
"In Time" is the kind of track you have to listen and hear what the artist has to say, this track is really all about the lyrics (and that bass line, which kicks in somewhere midway).
The track starts off as a very mellow ballad-like tune, but then Golden Vessel showcases his production skills by blending the bass into the piano mellowness. It's a very raw and personal track and something we should all be able to relate to, really.
"When I fall for someone, I fall hard. I want all or nothing, but if it doesn’t work out, I know I’ll be okay. I’ll be more than fine with my choices and decisions to go all in and give it a go because for me, it’s part of living. I’d rather whatever comes with that than having the ‘what ifs’ in life. In my experience, it’s not too often you come across people you feel this way about in the modern world, and when we do I feel like you can’t let it pass you by. It could be something really special, no matter how long it lasts or what happens in the end.”
