Every season, our friends from Chillhop Music grant us with their Essential compilation - a selection of state of the art beat-driven tracks. And every season I fall in love.

2019's Summer Essentials is no exception. My first highlight feature is of Blue Wedneday's "Birthday Girl". Gustav's approach towards writing music has evolved quite a lot since I first stumbled upon him a few years ago. The track feels very mature and calm and a perfect way to ease into the day. Also. the scent of jazz influence - absolutely flawless.
