Soft like a cloud and pure like mountain water, “This Far” invites us into a soothing world, where things are not exactly what we’re used to.

Created in New York City apartments and a dorm room in Berlin, “This Far” is an indietronica track with pop flavour, which has been in the making for two years. Hailing from Boston and New Zealand, frequent collaborators chabeau and Livia O drew inspiration from The Japanese House and Beau Diako to make a dreamy pop song in an odd meter.

Chabeau’s interesting approach to the instrumental and the incorporation of Livia O’s angelic vocals, made the track a really interesting experience, worth exploring. The percussive elements, mixed with the vocal textures created an untypical structure, which resulted in a special and pleasant atmosphere.  The track goes away from the typical pop sound and offers really beautiful vibes for those who managed to make it ‘this far’.
