Criibaby landed on my radar back in 2020 with the dreamy, vintage R&B-inspired love "Some Kinda Voodoo". Excited to continue that lush and intimate journey and share with you her soul-infused new single "home".
The track's artwork does it justice. The whole song is a pure trip in the clouds. Criibaby's voice will lift you up in the air and leave you feeling lighter than a feather. The acoustic elements of the track set the perfect stage for her lullaby-like singing. This is what heaven sounds like.
When it comes to track's inspiration, she shares, "Home is about reflecting on a broken past relationship while growing into myself in the present. In “home,” I’m hopeful about returning “home” to myself- and in turn, returning “home” to love again. I can finally make peace with where I’m at: I’m able to look at a past relationship as a learning experience and rely on myself alone to take the next step toward a new beginning."
