We’re thrilled to welcome South African producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Dan Gregory for his Stereofox debut, Benzaiten LP - a collection of jazzy hip-hop instrumentals born from his recent trip to Japan.

"Nagasu" offers the first tastes of the project, featuring Japanese producer re:plus. Chill, deeply groovy hip-hop beats meet floating keys and guitars, all brought together with masterful production and the pure joy of two musicians getting to know each other through music.

The rest of the album will include an equally stellar circle of Japanese artists, including neo-soul guitarist Toshiki Soejima, trumpeter Nahokimama, saxophonist robe, and producers Shin-ski and Refeeld, whom Dan Gregory met while travelling from Shikoku all the way to the far north of Hokkaido. The music born from these collaborations is a result of the magic of the moment and connection, with nothing prepared or written in advance, so expect pure synergy, musical exchange, and flow from the upcoming music.

Until then, you can stream "Nagasu" and pre-save the full album here.
