Dum Dum Girls is one heck of a girl band. Based in New York and with a sound that is simultaneously confident, strong, and feminine, they will seduce you with their sexy badassery.

It's a hybrid between alt-rock and "60's-infused lo-fi pop" (according to their Spotify biography). Formed in 2008 and led by vocalist and songwriter Dee Dee Penny, they've worked with the former producer of the Go-Go's, Blondies and the Raveonettes, and guest guitarist Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Powerful stuff.

If you have a thing for super-talented, uber-sexy rocker chicks with a little bit of a retro sound, you'll fall for Dum Dum Girls. "Rimbaud Eyes" is off their 2014 album, Too True.
