This marks their first release of 2026, and it fluctuates between moments with soothing vocal performances and stellar verses about simply having a good time. All the artists here are having fun, and we can tell, even the producers, as there’s a range of interesting ear candy intertwined between the bouncy drums and the warm guitars.

From the lyricism to the production, the latest collaboration between Lord Sko and CARRTOONS “SKY FERREIRA” is brimming with this feel-good charm from start to finish.

This is exactly the kind of rap music that speaks to me as of late. The kind where slick lyricism shines bright along with flows that are reminiscent of the East Coast or the South side. That’s exactly what we’re acquainted with on Lord Sko’s (who I JUST found out is from New York) “SKY FERREIRA”. On the production, CARRTOONS subtly pulls from jazz and soul to create a hip hop instrumental that’s quite atypical for the genre. For me, this is pure “rappers rapping rap” and I love it!

A collaboration between the Alberta-based multi-instrumentalist Chic Chameleon(Patrick Froese) and Carey Clayton’s Modern Olympia project.

Shoegaze dream-pop meets indie pop to create a short but fluid and captivating piece that keeps you hooked and listening on repeat. Certainly had me in any case.

The track opens with drums, a melodic bassline, and dark wave-reminiscent guitars, which it keeps until the end whilst adding bright undertones with strings and synths. The perfect track for gloomy autumn days.

Did you know that the name Omasta comes from a regional Krakow dialect word meaning “fat added to food for flavour”, which, in my opinion, is a perfect metaphor for their rich, groove-heavy sound that blends jazz with street culture, hip-hop and raw energy.

Omasta boldly explores new musical paths while staying rooted in the jazz tradition, and their single “In Your Face” is a perfect example for that. Heavy drums, deep bass, and bold brass bring out the band’s personality. The sharp horn lines cut through the hip-hop beat, giving the track a raw and bold energy that keeps you hooked from start to finish.

I really like this band for the elegance of the jazz elements and the contrasting hip-hop vibe. I am totally adding them to my playlist. What about you?

Elena Pinderhughes is an American jazz flutist, singer, and composer, and I am excited to introduce her to our blog. She just released her new album i hope you feel it too. The song “charm” featuring American jazz trumpeter, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer Chief Adjuah is so gentle and emotional. I think what makes it so soul-stirring is the melody that Pinderhughes plays on her flute throughout the whole track. And the way that Chief Adjuah complements it with his warm-sounding trumpet just scratches my brain.

I definitely recommend giving this song a listen and adding it to your playlist.

German producer think less. and Belgian multi-instrumentalist Drxnk team up for lush EP, a four-track collection of dreamy lo-fi hip-hop, and today they release the first portion of it with the double single “frequently / exhale”.

Built around calm grooves, sparkling textures, and warm, finely layered production, the music evokes feelings of beauty, calm, and completeness, reminiscent of being surrounded by nature at its most peaceful. It carries the idea that even when things fall out of place, there’s comfort in trusting that they will eventually come together as long as we keep moving forward. At least that’s how it feels to me – hope you also find your own meaning in it.

RHNO throws r&b and indie into a melancholic yet psychedelic realm on his soulful new release, “Womp Womp”.

RHNO (pronounced like rhino) is a collaboration between two friends who have been making music together for 10 years. The nostalgic “Womp Womp” delivers a vibe reminiscent of Prince, while the melodic and sound choices remind us a lot of the iconic Mk.gee. What really snatched my attention, however, was the combination of the sensual vocals paired with these dreamy synths. This combination makes for such a compelling fusion, with the vocals adding a human touch to the shimmering, almost otherworldly production.

Japanese beatmaker AHNAMUSICA finally releases his debut album on our label called Wesing, and what a chill, jazz/hip-hop, sun-soaked bless it is.

“This release is a peaceful collection of 14 tracks, created with a sincere wish for peace in times like these. In a world filled with uncertainty, conflict, and emotional exhaustion, I wanted to create music that could offer even a small sense of warmth, calmness, and human connection.”, he shares.

Created during a time of global uncertainty and division, Wesing ultimately offers a moment of hope and comfort in the simple act of listening together. Yesterday, before the official album release, we hosted an exclusive album listening party on Bandcamp, and it was wonderful to have such lovely people from across the globe join in, experience the album together, and share their thoughts. I am thrilled to introduce Takuya Nakamura, a composer, trumpeter, keyboardist and DJ, originally from Tokyo but based in New York. He pushes the boundaries of music by blending his deep jazz roots with edge-cutting electronic production. I would call him a true pioneer in contemporary music.

“Broken Jazz” is part of his latest album Shape the Future and is a collaboration with Tim Reaper, a music producer and DJ specialising in jungle music.

The big contrast between Nakamura’s warm, expressive horn solos and Reaper’s intense tempo creates an unpredictable but flawless symbiosis. I think “Broken Jazz” couldn’t be a more fitting title for this release. It literalizes the collision between the two artists’ distinct worlds.

For everyone who likes to get lost in the more experimental corners of the music industry – this is your track.
