Foxtide is a trio of talents bending genres and experimenting with sound in the best way possible.

Made up of Elijah Gibbins-Croft on the guitar & vocals, Ethan Bowers on the drums and Orion Silva on the bass, Foxtide blends shoegaze, jazz and surf into a sun-soaked California sound. Not to mention, these boys are from my hometown of San Diego, which makes me vibe with their surf vibe even more.

“Visions” is a swift and funky exploration of guitars and soft percussion. It might feel short at only a minute and thirty seconds, but it’s a brief pause in their Visions album between jams like “Everything That’s Mine” and “Cycles.” This one sounds like a live garage jam session in between recording, a track that’s playful and brief.

If you haven’t checked out Foxtide, or their new album - I highly suggest it if you’re even the slightest bit into surf, alternative, or even jazz. There’s a little gem in there for everyone.
