Gordi popped up on everybody's radar back in 2014 (also I feel like I'm still adjusting to the fact that it's 2015 already), but she has only caught my attention recently with her "Taken Blame" off her upcoming debut EP.
"Taken Blame" is a very gentle and nostalgic track. I'm not sure what I am nostalgic about, but it just feels this way. Everything is perfect in this song: acoustic guitar, soft bassline, clear and pretty vocals, and lush electronic production. It's one of those electro-folk tracks (if that is even a thing), that I can't stop listening to. I honestly don't know anymore how many times I hit the play button, getting lost in the track every single time.
Is it surprising that she is an Aussie? Nope.
