In recent years, a new wave has taken over the indie music scene, particularly in the UK. Instead of simply guitars, melancholy lyrics and questionable haircuts, we’ve experienced a sort of evolution.

With more diversity and experimentation, we’ve been given something new in the form of bands like London based Haus. Ballsy combos of traditional, deep-rooted indie riffs with experimental sounds and effects created that, which sounds like Haus down to a T.

Their latest track “Haze” is upbeat and gutsy and would feel right at home as the soundtrack of some testosterone driven action film. Bizarrely you can hear multiple eras throughout this track from their 90s grungy sound and guitar work to a surprisingly fitting 60s overtone of "oo oo oo"-s on the chorus.

“Haze" is loud and in your face and combines all the synthy goodness of this new wave of indie music.
