The continuously morphing synths on IKSRE's "August" pretty much start off in the forefront, although as the track progresses they land up lingering in the background by virtue of the amount of fascinating layers we become introduced to.

"August" is the kind of ambient composition that's well suited for film as it carriers a dense mood - one that doesn't require a lable such as happiness or melancholy, but simply rich with emotion that can certainly be felt. And this is particularly heightened with the arrival of the wailing sounds paired with the tender vocals towards the end.
