F.A.M.E.

I'm back from some seaside holiday time and I ensured my smooth transition to reality with this absolute chill pill.

"F.A.M.E." is the second track we feature by Jaime Hinckson (after I found the amazing jazz beat gem "Osmosis" back in 2018) and it's part of Take Time - the instrumental, mellow-piano version of the Between Time album he co-produced for Soundminerz. Jaime elaborates:

"F.A.M.E." is an ode to the classic hip-hop I grew up listening to and the jazz piano I grew to love. A fan of both J Dilla and Erroll Garner, I used my album, Take Time, to bridge the gap between both genres and generations. Recorded during a year overwhelmed by racial injustice and a global pandemic, this track is meant to deliver a moment of peace amongst the chaos. This timeless instrumental, like the acronym it represents, is my Fight Against Momentary Existence.

A true masterpiece that fuses two sides of music I love. Something that hopefully goes well with your day, too.
