I literally gasped when I saw a new release from Kelsey Bulkin earlier today and its been on repeat ever since. To say I am a fan of Bulkin's would be a huge understatement, but it should be mentioned that, like most of her fan base, this in large part thanks to her past work when she made up one-half of the electronic duo Made In Heights.

After the unexpected, and rather sudden split between the pair back in 2015 I couldn't help but feel like something was missing for me. To this day, I still keep many Made In Heights' tracks on heavy rotation, but this isn't about them anymore. Bulkin is back and paving the way for a solo career.

"Andromeda" brings Bulkin's airy vocals to center stage with a tame, but vibrant beat. Despite the track's casual simplicity, I see the song as a great jumping off point for her solo career as she continues to experiment and find a place for herself as something much more than "one-half of Made In Heights".
