Get ready for some tribal chills with up-and-coming chill downtempo chill producer Liminka who dropped his debut single "Where Are You Now" on the 18th of March via Deep Heads.
While Liminka is a new alias for the Finland-born, Germany-raised artist, the producer has been previously known as Sidi - an artist that has received support from our friends at XLR8R. Besides producing, Liminka plays both the drums and saxophone and is heavily inspired by artists like Bonobo, Massive Attack and Boards of Canada - something you can pick very quickly after hitting the play button.
When it comes to "Where Are You Now", the artist shares “This tune is a reconnection with myself as a producer since it was the first song I wrote in a long time. I was searching for this hidden part of me that used to write this kind of music, trying to be true to myself. I also kind of wrote it to my girlfriend at the time. I was stuck at home because I had an injury, but could not reach her, so I made music in the hope she would hear me.”
