Every since I heard this dude's remix of "Where I'm Trying To Go" by Pretty Lights off of his A Color Map of the Sun remixes, I've been following the producer/guitarist Cory Wythe aka Marvel Years. Working-class, East Coast influenced guitar riffs with a Rocky Mountain soul has been, for me, the special Marvel Years blend. As he smashes apart the classic "Gold Digger" by Kanye West and injects it was some of that rude electro soul & blues, we witness the zest he introduces to his remix.  This one was to top off an ultra busy 2017 in his young career:

To end 2017 on a high note, here is a remix I cooked up while I was hanging around at home during my month off. I hope you guys enjoy!

Coming off of a jam-packed 2017 schedule, Wythe saw stage time alongside Pretty Lights Live Band at the famous Gorge Ampitheatre in George, Washington. He also shared the stage on tour with well-established peers like Russ Liquid & Manic Focus to up-and-comers like Pure Colors and Guggenz.   During a trip to the US in sping 2017, I had a chance to catch Marvel Years in Chicago alongside Break Science at the Concord Music Hall. Amazing show where he joined Borahm Lee (keyboardist of PL Live) and Adam Deitch (drummer of Lettuce) on stage for a finale jam. Talk about a jet lag remedy.

Catch him currently on tour with the cult-classic jam band Lotus.
