As we sink deeper and deeper into Winter, I find myself listening to more and more chilled out folk songs that do nothing to convince me I should be getting out of my lovely warm bed. The last couple of days I have quite happily been adding 'I Know You Love To Fall' by Message To Bears to this ever increasing list.
Jerome Alexander is the multi- instrumentalist behind Message To Bears and lets face it, probably the Nordic god of music and relaxation. (N.B it's actually Bragi, thanks Wikipedia!) But Alexander's tracks do have an element of wistful relaxation to them, mixing electronic beats, angelic vocals and soaring strings to create something completely extraordinary. 'I Know You Love To Fall' comes off Message To Bears third LP Maps and is available to buy here. Well worth checking out if you love beautiful music.
