No Rome, aka Romie Gomez, is a Philippine-based artist who has been generating waves with his ever-evolving music that he classifies as shoegaze r&b. He further describes his music as “a personification of teen love, melancholy & everything in between”.

“Flowers On My Neck / Breaking”, is actually composed of 2 different songs, but “Breaking” is used as a much shorter outro track. You might notice that “Flowers On My Neck” samples some vocals from Lontalius' “I Was More Than”, which pairs nicely with the indie rock vibes of No Rome's own vocals, along with the dreamy atmospheric production.

“Breaking” works effectively as an outro track by layering dark and heavy beats over very slowed down vocals, but it would be nice to have both tracks as stand-alones, rather than fused together.

Overall, definitely worth a listen. Especially if you’re craving some melancholy electronica.
