Nothing but love for Swiss brothers Georg and Christoph (aka okvsho). Dealers of smooth global grooves, the brothers are back with some A-plus musicians we absolutely to deliver us an outerworldly experience.

Okvsho return with “sl.wm.ed.”, the second single from their upcoming album Frozen Flashes, bringing together the Zurich duo with Melodiesinfonie and FloFilz for a long-awaited collaboration rooted in the European beat and jazz scene.

The song takes its name from “spread love with music every day,” the guiding philosophy of Boyoom Connective, the Zurich-based label co-founded by Melodiesinfonie. The label holds particular significance for the brothers, having been home to their debut EP, Traphouse Jazz, with FloFilz also playing a role in its early journey as producers.

More than a collaboration, the track serves as a heartfelt tribute to the duo’s formative years as musicians. At a time when they were just beginning to shape their sound, Melodiesinfonie and FloFilz stood among their most influential inspirations (now that's what I call a full circle). Years later, sharing a record with the very artists who helped spark that creative path carries a deep sense of gratitude and accomplishment. In that sense, "sl.wm.ed" is both a reflection on where the journey began and a celebration of how far it has come.
