This is the song I fell in love with from this album.
I'm so excited that the full project Before We Spoke, by Osamu Fukuzawa & edbl is out in the world, and via Stereofox Records. Their debut collaboration resulted in 11 tracks with 4 amazing guest artists - INDIA BLUE, IYAMAH, Robyn Florence, and Jackson Mathod.
Osamu and Ed share, "This album came together through exchanging sounds and little ideas – often before many words were spoken. In a way, the music became our first conversation. The songs carry a feeling of moving between different places, with warm grooves, piano, and space for each artist’s voice to breathe. We’re really grateful to have made this album with such wonderful artists, each bringing their own feeling into it."
The opener, "Reflections", was the first song I heard from it and the piano melody, paired with the airy guitars and the light drum groove, just speaks to your heart.
