French trumpet player Paxkalito makes his debut on Stereofox Records with his upcoming EP Follow Me - a 6-track journey in collaboration with keyboardist Albert Miguez. Rooted in the spirit of live performance, each track unfolds like a dialogue between trumpet and keys, supported by basslines and groove-driven drums - reminiscent of a jazz quartet in an intimate club setting.
Inspired by the legacy of the Miles Davis quintet, the EP leans into muted trumpet tones, flugelhorn textures, and laid-back tempos, with melodies shaped like modern jazz standards.
