A joyous day. We're about to enter yet another Chillhop Essentials season. With everything happening in the world, this is a breath of fresh air.

The first single from 2022's Spring Essential features 2 of my favourite producers - Psalm Trees and Moods. 2 people who have proven time and time again their art will live on forever.

I know chillhop and lofi is by design relaxing, but there's something in "Santiago" that takes this emotion to a whole new level. The quiet background noises paired with the jazzy synths all that laying on top of a thick bassline... beautiful.

The humming vocals are the cherry on the top. I joke you not - I got goosebumps from this beat and that's not something that happens often for me in the genre.
