This submission came with a Bibio/chillwave reference, and it instantly got my attention. Spoiler alert, it did not disappoint, tokyo france's new single, "Do You Remember?", could be my summer of 2027's most nostalgically romantic soundtrack. A track I can't wait to play while cruising the coastline with my wife.

With just 249 monthly listeners, 0 Spotify followers, and scarce to non-existent information,tokyo france remains a mystery I hope to keep with me forever. Going back to that Bibio reference, if you like this indie-meets-electronic kind of vibe (ie his Ribbons album), you will absolutely love this track. "Do You Remember?" sounds like a sun-faded collage of lo-fi folk, warm analog electronics, gentle psychedelia, and nostalgic tape-warped textures that feel both intimate and dreamlike.

I absolutely love Raymond's vocals and what he's done with them in terms of production. There's a strange essence of carefree innocence in the whole sound.
