Permahigh is a Leeds/Brighton – based label, which was born from the idea of group of friends to start sharing each other’s music with the world cause it was just too good to be kept in secret. I have been following Permahigh almost since their beginning and since the first ever track they officially put out was more than impressed. For the two official releases they have (one of which is a compilation) Permahigh are a great example of how someone could mix so many influences, which you could hear all over their tracks and at the same time they sound like something that is kind of far from being too similar to anything out there.

The collective just put out an entire EP by the producer Us & It (a.k.a. Lawrence Nash), called The Bombs Of - INSERT HERE -

"Mum & Cub" is the second track of the EP and I found myself completely drowned in the sea of warmness,  and fragile, delicate sounds, which the track built in my mind. The beautifully warped reversed vocal samples bring that feeling of a light breeze in the air and the subtle tribal drums packed together with the slick wonky beat and deep bass puts you somewhere between the states of trans and dream in which you would like to stay for a while.

The Bombs Of – INSERT HERE – is out now via Bandcamp.
