Sunday morning post-gym... the best time for a cup of coffee and some good acoustic music. My sound salvation today is actually from Berlin. Excited to share with you Wolf & Moon - a duo comprised of modern day storytelling nomads, Dennis and Stef. We first featured them back in 2017 and I'm happy to see they've come a long way since then.

This Basement Sessions version of their track "Situations" (released via BonFire Records) comes after quite the busy 2019 for the guys. After the release of their debut album Before It Gets Dark last January, Wolf & Moon played as SXSW and got the the Best Newcomer award at the VIA awards during this year’s Reeperbahn (Germany) festival. 

Honestly, every single listen of this track is instant love. The way their vocals stack together is absolutely flawless. Add this to the subtle guitar lullaby in the background paired with spacious ambiance and you've got a winner. Drawing inspirations from Angus & Julia Stone and The XX, the duo has certainly a lot of freshness to offer on the indie scene.
