I've lost track of Beach Fossils for a while now, but it was so nice to wake up to the news of the announcement of their new LP and a brand new track called "This Year".
If you're chasing those dreamy, hazy summer indie sounds, the song is the perfect go-to place. To this day, I remember the days spent listening to the band's debut self-titled album, and this felt like such a nice time capsule trip, although "This Year" sounds somehow more melancholic. Absolutely loving the sound change!
Their LP Somersault will be released on June 2nd on Bayonet Records.
