I recently discovered London-based 4-piece Blood Wizard via a Rough Trade recommendation, and have been obsessed with their Lucky Life EP ever since. Wrapped in a layer of shoegaze-inspired guitars and cosmic synths, the song will wrap you in a blanket knitted of hopeless 90s nostalgia.
I feel a strong return to the early days of Stereofox where we covered a lot more indie/alt music. I also feel the scene is thriving these days, and acts like Blood Wizard feel like a breath of fresh air.
Happy to add this gem and add some flair to our indie experience selection.
