Out today on Stereofox Records, "Fly To The Sun" is here to bless your week.

Airy vocals and harmonies, a slow groove, and shimmering textures make this track captivating from the very first seconds. It feels like your feet are slowly leaving the ground, carrying you upwards towards the clouds and whatever dreams might be waiting there. I imagine a big open field, a cliff, or a beach by the sea, where people - children and parents, friends and strangers - gather to release colourful kites into the air - like a sea of colour against a clear blue sky, carrying a collective wish for a better world. That's what this song evokes in me.

We've been eagerly waiting for you to hear Calida Ray's album, There Might Be Light Above The Surface (Pt. One), for a long time, and although its September release means the summer is slowly drifting away, the good news is that we're getting closer to this magical body of work finally being out in the world. It is a beautiful weave of genres, influences, and ideas, and "Fly To The Sun" is the final glimpse into its magical world before it's out.

Sep 7th - stay tuned! And until then - pre-save the album, stream the singles, and pre-order your vinyl here.
