I was in London for a week, as we had a couple of really cool album drops recently, and this weekend is full-on work mode. Truth be told, I love working on the weekends - it's quiet and I get to enjoy the process much more as opposed to the constant context switching and email checking during the working days.

I'm sipping a coffee, enjoying the sunshine and the perfect temperature of 28 degrees while immersing in this wonderful jazz beat collaboration, courtesy of French producer Easy Deviance and Japanese producer/trumpeter konb.

"Uneri (畝り)" hits the sweet spot between chill and groove. Inspired by the Japanese word describing the wave-like momentum of music, its warm Rhodes chords and laid-back drums make it the perfect soundtrack for the type of smooth, yet busy summer day full of excitement when it comes to living life.
