Thanks to the presence of organs and incredibly soulful vocals, Loulia and Charles Knopp's newest release beautifully embodies the essence of a relaxing Sunday afternoon.
Berlin-based Loulia blends sensual soul, alternative r&b, and jazz influences into a distinctive and cinematic style. The first half of "Sunday Afternoon" gives us a gorgeous glimpse of this, with her vocals seamlessly floating over a warm, dreamy soundscape courtesy of the organs. The drums eventually arrive in the mix in quite a gentle manner that complements the track's overall charm, while her harmonies breathe life into the track as it moves toward the second half.
