On their latest release, "Pale Ale", Märla has delivered an astonishingly dreamy listening experience that is brimming with musicality and a sense of vibrancy.

Märla is a newly formed Swedish band creating instrumental jazz-funk fusion, paired with inspired by artists like Herbie Hancock, Billy Cobham, and Jeff Beck. At first the track possessed a groove-based charm that pulls you in thanks to the slick bass arrangement and the crisp drums. Right after however, the presence of synths ushers listeners into a psychedelic space that feels alive with color while brightening up the mix. The warmth of the guitar solos, especially towards the second half emphasize the band's love for jazz, and this is delivered in quite a sophsticated manner too.
