Last year, we caught up with Durham, NC based producer Nym about his release Lilac Chaser, which included a library of serene melodies, worldly samples, and layered rhythms. Among my favorites from that release is "Yeocomico" -- a Native American word for "tossed to and fro by the waters", which speaks a lot about Lilac Chaser, in general.
This track includes real-world sounds, recorded vocals, and moving harmonies, which build a framework to harness the inner-world. Over the weekend, we caught our first Nym experience in Berlin, which expanded our view on everything this project is about.
