Spanish producer and guitarist Pablo Queu first caught my attention early last year with "Stoneage" and "The Soul Chapter" two exceptional instrumental beat tapes.

A few months ago Queu dropped his Habitats EP which marked his first official release and also signalled a change in style, moving from the organic sound of the beat tapes to more song structured work.

His new work has also added vocals into the mix, and my pick from his recent EP is the opening number featuring the soft cotton tones of singer Jerome Thomas called "Deja Vu".

Stunning guitar work matched with Thomas' endearing voice and a beat that could cause you serious neck injury makes this a must listen.

With a strong foundation in grooves, rich harmonies and production, his new EP marks the start of his journey as a producer.
