The delicate piano performed by Reuben James is hugging Sophie's voice as she is pouring her emotionally raw and powerful vocals. The melancholic and vulnerable sound takes us somewhere majestic where we can feel the pain in "Heart Is On My Sleeve".
The track is co-written by one of our favorites - Stormzy. Their collaboration came after Sophie made a cover of his song "Crown" and received massive attention after he shared it online. Stormzy stepped into her life right when she was on the verge of leaving music behind. Now, the jazzy soulful tune comes right after her deeply personal single "Pinky Blues" and the build-up was crafted by the gospel choir - Zoe Kypri, BAELY, Lydia Kitto (Jungle), and Kojo (Mad Yella).
