Matt Corby released an EP today which includes just 4 tracks: "Resolution" which we have already covered, "Lay You Down" which I am about to feature now, "Evangelist" and demo version of "Resolution".

Every time I compare his new stuff with his earlier music like the track "Brother" for example, which actually made him famous, I catch myself on a thought that I like this recent Matt more. The development of his songwriting talent is very clear in this EP. If you haven't heard track "Evangelist" you should definitely give it a listen - you won't even recognize his voice.

Back to "Lay You Down". It is a very gentle soft tune, very strong lyrically as well. Matt's distinct powerful voice somehow crawls inside of you and spreads the love. Sounds weird, but hey, this is very subjective, right? As I am so excited that I barely make any sense, I urge everybody to stop reading this post and listen to "Lay You Down" and the whole EP.

Stay up to date.
